The frost is over
Spring has come
Birds sing
Flowers bloom
The Horned One rejoices

For he was slaughtered
By the knife of the Mother
But by the grace of the Mother
He was also brought back to life
An old, old tale

For an old one he is
So young and strong in spring
So wearied and brave in winter
The cold blade ran deep in his throat
Only to have a new rack and pelt

You had come again in youth
So fair and tall you are
